This year we’ve all been on an incredible journey to stay safe and connected. At OhmniLabs™, we end 2020 grateful that we’ve been able to help customers around the world respond to new challenges created by COVID-19. As a result, we are honored to win the Commercialization Award in the Silicon Valley Robotics “Good Robot” Industry Awards.
Here are some highlights from this unprecedented year. We could not have gotten through it without you!
Healthcare
Ohmni® Robot is being used in over 40 hospitals for patient care and patient access. Hospital staff use Ohmni® to provide families visitation to quarantined patients and to enter patient rooms saving limited PPE. Doctors use Ohmni® to help keep up with patients even when they are in a facility across town. A children’s hospital started using Ohmni® to introduce siblings to their newborn baby brother or sister in the NICU because sibling visits had been temporarily suspended. And Azria Health started a telehealth robot program.
“Now, all the caregivers need to do is push a button to turn on the robot, and Dr. Manley is able to navigate through Azria Health Gretna’s hallways as if she’s physically in the facility!”
