Poseidon Ho founded Outliers and managed Outliers Fund I (16x), Fund II (11x) and raised a $50M Fund III for investing in Web3 & Metaverse in 2022-2026. Outliers Lab #1 incubated 9 Web3 startups with two on path to filing IPO and $100M+ raised collectively. In 2022, Outliers Fund III was deployed on Ethereum and became Outliers VC DAO, one of the world’s first Collective Intelligence-driven VC, running all fund terms/operations on smart contracts.
Prior to founding Outliers, Poseidon researched Collective Intelligence & Reality Computing at MIT Media Lab, Microsoft Research, and San Diego Zoo Research. Poseidon studied M.S. Computer Science at University of Washington (dropout), M.Eng. Data Science at Tsinghua University (dropout) and B.A. Management Information Systems at National Taiwan University. Poseidon has 4 research fellowships, 20+ international design & programming awards.
