In order for our robot to achieve thorough disinfection, we designed it to pack a significant punch of powerful UV light. Each unit comes standard with eight 75-watt, high-output 254nm UV-C lamps. The bulbs are composed of 2.0 mg of low-pressure mercury (less than the typical fluorescent bulb available today) with an average lifespan of about 9,000 hours for each.
All bulbs combined, the unit emits an impressive 600 watts of power, which can create a rather hot environment for the bulbs to reside. For this reason, our OhmniClean units come with dual-cooling fans installed on the light module, which helps optimize power and maintain its high levels of efficiency.
